If you walked with the Young African Leaders Forum (YALF) in 2016, you must have been a part of the historical launch of the very first youth-powered development journal at Africa’s most strategic centre, the African Union Headquarters, Addis Ababa. That maiden edition published 22 papers collated from youth leaders all over the continent.
This year would reiterate youths’ commitment to the realization of the social will of the entire African people. The second edition of the reputable journal, Young African Leaders Journal of Development (#YALJOD), will be published and launched in October 2018. More papers would be published and we invite you to be a part!
#YALJOD is a biennial publication established to host scholarly analysis and competing viewpoints about the development of Africa. Our motive for establishing the journal is to garner youth ideas and provide a formidable platform for young people to contribute to policies in the continent.
These five youth editors, from different African backgrounds, will work with our rich editorial board of consultants to publish an insightful journal for the entire world. These are the faces of the upcoming journal of development… Work with us!
