group-photo-after-the-worshop-4As part of our organizational objective to empower African young people to participate actively in the society so that they can improve their own lives by representing and solving their needs whilst also advocating for those of others, YALF conducted a one-day Youth Empowerment program in Paynesville, Liberia. The event, which held on the 31st of August, 2016, provided the platform for the empowerment of young Liberians in leadership development and entrepreneurship. Local development experts were invited to conducts the trainings which lasted for over 9 hours.

On behalf of the President of YALF, Liberian National Coordinator, Darlington Paye, conducted the award of Certificates of Participation to the youths who were in attendance. This project upheld our vision to visit and impact the slums of African nations, and educate rural people to be actively involved in the promotion of development in their society.

YALF keenly follows the implementation policy of the Agenda 2063, and this training of young people, amongst others, lends credence to our very commitment to the realization of a developed and progressive continent.
